NYLAG submitted testimony at the  NYS Joint Legislative Public Hearing on the Proposed 2026 Executive Budget concerning Health and Medicaid.  The hearing was held on February 10, 2026.

The Governor's budget was announced with the spectre of draconian cuts coming in Medicaid eligibility, services, and infrastructure funding -- all enacted by H.R.1, the Federal Budget Reconciliation Law (a/k/a One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBA).
